Ultra-Pure Coating Technology
BioFix brought Paltop's Advanced Dental Solutions Implant System to Portugal. This product is made of biocompatible materials and can be surgically attached to the lower jaw bone to support artificial crowns where natural teeth are missing.
Paltop, a brand imported to Portugal exclusively by BioFix, is a leader in implantology. The success of its products is due to the constant research in this area, the know-how that BioFix brings to the professionals.
Surface Analysis
The implant system of Paltop that BioFix represents in Portugal is considered safe and efficient, based on a series of tests. The tests were conducted on the basis of a risk analysis process. This analysis is used to evaluate surface purity and morphology.

The surgical intervention in an implant should be preceded by a comprehensive assessment of the patient's health, preoperative diagnoses and therapeutic plans.
The BioFix Protocol
Paltop products marketed by BioFix comply with a protocol developed and tested in order to be easy and simple to use, so they are organized by an intuitive color system.
Immediate Placement
Paltop systems marketed by BioFix are ready for immediate placement. With the unique design and protocol of products provided by BioFix, it is possible to restore primary stability in any application, including immediate positioning.

Studies & Publications

Mechanical Stability of the PALTOP Implant Design
The objective of this study was to measure the mechanical stability of the PALTOP Advanced implant design on the day of insertion into the bone. The PALTOP design was compared to stability measurements for 3 leading implant designs.

Safety and Effectiveness of PALTOP Drills
Heat production is an objective measurable parameter for bone safety and effectiveness. PALTOP drills were evaluated using a whole sequence of PALTOP burs including the 2 bur/drill types of twist/step drills and spade drill designs, in all diameters produced.

5 Years of Clinical Experience
Up to 5 years outcome of PALTOP Dental Implants Post-Marketing clinical follow up. The purpose of this study was to assess PALTOP Dental Implant outcomes up to 5 years postimplant placement. 2 parameters were evaluated: implant survival rate and bone loss.

Final report of the BDIZ EDI implant study 2014/15
EDI Journal 1/2015 contained an interim report presenting the results for 65 implant systems from the 2014/15 BDIZ EDI implant study. This interim report had focused on notable analytical results for titanium implants and on the presentation of various surface structures of popular implant systems in titanium and its alloys.

Clean Dental Implants Essential for Clinical Success
Cologne, Germany: Dental implant surfaces are continuously being improved to achieve better and faster integration with the bone. However, a study being conducted at the University of Cologne has found that some implants’ surfaces still exhibit irregularities clinical success of the implant.

One-Year Survival Rate Outcomes of Innovative Dental Implants
A Prospective Clinical Study. The aim of this research was to evaluate an innovative implant design for different placement and loading protocols. The unique implant is a combination of tapered and cylindrical shape, which is aimed to enhance initial stability and long-term osseointegration.

Paltop Dental Implants Primary Stability Assessment
Based on Insertion Torque & Resonance Frequency analysisy. The purpose of this study was to assess Paltop Dental Implant primary stability as an indication for long term survival rate. The study population includes 132 implants placed in 72 adult patients who are missing at least one posterior tooth in either mandible or maxilla.

Tissue management and prosthetic considerations
With immediate implantation in the anterior maxilla. Implant therapy success, especially in the anterior maxilla, is judged not only by osseointegration but also by the presence of sound and stable peri-implant tissues that appear identical to the gingiva surrounding the healthy adjacent teeth.
